| Howie Garber | ||
Howie is a professional landscape, wildlife and adventure sports photographer. He has lived in Salt Lake City, Utah for over 30 years. He has won national and international awards for his work. Howie’s interest in photography dates to 1969 when he took a “History of Photography” class while at the University of Rochester. He remained an amateur for many years. In 1990 he traveled to Nepal, his first trip outside the U.S. and shot 40 rolls of film while trekking for a month. This convinced him to spend more time with his cameras. While traveling in South America during 1991, his wanderlust was rewarded with an incredible stroke of luck. On his birthday, he was picked up while hitch-hiking by a Brazilian biologist who was doing jaguar research. Experiencing the wonder of observing wildlife in natural habitats was an incentive to improve his photography skills. Since then he has traveled and photographed extensively in places like Peru, Antarctica, Brazil, China, Kenya, England, Alaska, Australia and Switzerland. |

Seb claims not to have set out to become a mountain bike photographer, but more than a decade after having his first bike images published he’s one of the UK’s leading photographers of all things fat-tyred and human-propelled. His editorial work appears most months in market-leading magazines like Mountain Biking UK and What Mountain Bike, whilst his stock images have found a worldwide market in newspapers, books, magazines and advertising. Nearly 20 years’ experience as a rider gives Seb a unique ability to capture the spirit, broad appeal and thrill of mountain biking. Commissioned shoots have taken him to many of the world’s riding hotspots, from Nepal and Borneo to British Columbia and the French Alps. Clients appreciate Seb’s ability to work under pressure, often in less than ideal circumstances, and still come back with original and inspiring images. Seb lives with his partner and young family at the foot of England’s Mendip Hills. |

Alex is a proficient wildlife and expedition photographer and was a finalist twice in the BBC International Young Wildlife Photographer Awards – attempting to use his imagery to allow split second moments to live on. He studied Biological Sciences at St Hugh’s College, Oxford and uses his insight into animal behaviour, his speciality, to enhance his photography. He also travelled to the US for two months in 2005 to live with a pack of wolves for a joint behavioural/photographic study. Whilst at Oxford, Alex competed in the Oxford-Cambridge Varsity Triathlon and rowed competitively, winning his ‘blade’ at the beginning of 2006. At 21, Alex plans to undertake unsupported journeys to both Poles in the coming years alongside his upcoming career as an officer in the Royal Marines Commandos. He was elected a Fellow by the Royal Geographical Society in 2007. |
